If you are a Health and Safety Officer responsible for the safety of plant and personnel for your company, you may have concerns about static electricity.
Do machine operators complain of static shocks when they work on certain machines or with particular products? Sometimes it is not the static itself which poses the real risk, but the reaction of the person who gets a "shock". They may jump back or fall onto moving machine parts, therefore suffering consequential injury.
Alternatively static build up on a processing machine might cause interference with the electronics of the machine controls causing expensive malfunctions and downtime.
- Comprehensive site survey. We offer comprehensive static audits covering all aspects of factory and office environments.
- Detailed written survey report. The service includes the provision of detailed written reports of our findings and recommendations as to how potential problems caused by static electricity can be overcome.
Do you sometimes get asked to do an occasional job, or handle a certain product on an infrequent basis and static problems mean you have trouble in fulfilling the contract on time or within budget?
- Flexible rental terms. We offer on rental Eltex static control systems for anything from a week up to 2 months to allow you to get the job out the door without the full expensive of buying the system outright.
- Written quotation on request. Tell us what your problem is and how long you may need equipment for and we will send you a written quotation of hiring costs.
After many months of use and if little cleaning or maintenance has been carried out, your static control equipment may not be performing as well as it should. We will come on site to service and clean your equipment, and carry out any essential repairs. We are sure you will agree that well maintained equipment always works better and lasts longer.
- Fixed price service. We offer fixed price on-site servicing to all our customers and for all makes of static control equipment on request.
- Free loan equipment. If we find it necessary to remove equipment for off-site repairs, then subject to availability, we can offer loan equipment to keep you running whilst your equipment is away for repair.
- Annual maintenance contracts. We are able to offer regular annual maintenance contracts at reasonable prices, so our customers have peace of mind that they are getting the best from their static control equipment.
- Equipment cleaned and tested. During the service we clean, test and check positioning of all the equipment. Where possible we carry out all necessary repairs on site. However if a repair in situ is not possible, we remove the equipment for repair at our head office.
- Call out service for breakdowns. We also offer a call-out service in response to individual problems which occur when using equipment. Contact us by phone and one of our Engineers will arrange to come on site as soon as possible to rectify the problems.
Do you have any static control equipment which is not performing at full capacity or requires cleaning? Perhaps it has not been used for some time and you want it checked out. Alternatively it has been in constant use for a number of months or years with very little maintenance. Just send it to us and we will clean and test/repair it promptly.
- Quick turnaround on all equipment. Just return it to us and we will clean, test and return it to you promptly.
- Written quotation provided before any work carried out. If any repairs are necessary we will send you a written quotation detailing what repairs are required before going ahead with any work.
