Drawing on 35 years of combined history, Pulsotronic GmbH & CO. KG was founded in July 2001 by the fusion of the sensor technology divisions of Pulsotronic Merten GmbH in Wiehl and SKS Kontakttechnik in Thalheim

The headquarters of the new company is located in a modern plant at Niederdorf, in Chemnitz-Zwickau , Germany . Based on many years of combined experience of its two predecessors, Pulsotronic develops, produces and sells proximity switches and innovative sensor technology systems for a range of applications.

All of which are essential for any modern, high precision, reliable and robust industrial plant.

Pulsotronic sensors are designed and manufactured to the highest standards to fulfil the control, switch, test and registration functions in conveying systems, printing machines, automated production lines, packing and machine tools.

In addition, Pulsotronic is a leader in the fields of metal detection, metal separation and image processing systems for the plastics and printing industries.

Pulsotronic provides a specialist service in planning and manufacturing customised  automation projects. We also have sales engineers in many locations world-wide who are able to visit the customers workplace to discuss any special requirements at an early stage in a project, ensuring that we always provide only the most appropriate equipment for the application.
